Stock Footage and Video Effect Resource Sites

B-roll, stock footage, news footage, music, background videos, transitions, charts, 3D charts, 3D videos, video infographic templates, sound effects, video effects, and even full video templates for your next video can be purchased online. As you’re looking to streamline your video development, these packages can really accelerate your video production and make your videos look far more professional in a fraction of the time.

If you’re fairly tech-savvy, you may even wish to dive into purchasing some footage. Some of the animations, for example, come with amazing instructions on how to edit the video, replace, logos, change text, etc. without being an animation wizard.

Here’s a great example. Check out this Whiteboard Pack from Videohive – you can utilize all the different pre-developed scenes to put together your own explanatory video!

Or you might want to release a nice video in After Effects about your new iPhone application. Simply buy the iPhone Catalog from BlueFX and off you go!

There are a couple of sites that you can actually utilize that will search over 50 stock footage sites all over the Internet. Check out Footage.net.

Our Royalty-Free Stock Video Footage Recommendation: Depositphotos

Over the years, I’ve utilized a ton of different royalty-free stock footage sites and I’ve licensed thousands of videos. Over time what startled me the most was that the expensive sites had the same quality as the inexpensive sites. In fact, many times I found the same exact creator on both sites – with their stock photos priced significantly different from one another.

The site that I continued to return to for inexpensive, royalty-free, high-quality stock video footage continued to be Depositphotos. It’s also the site where I get my stock images.
